Anthony Mackey - Owner

Anthony has a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science & Conservation from the University of Oklahoma and a Minor in GIS. Anthony has 10+ years working in the water industry for both local and state governments including water and waste water treatment, storm water quality, and water rights management.

Anthony worked for City of Noble as the Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent which included all aspects of operations and lab work as well as performing Water Quality testing for the City's drinking water wells.

While at the City of Norman Anthony worked as both an Operator and a Lab Technician at the Water Reclamation Plant. In addition Anthony worked in the Storm Water Quality Division as a Storm Water Quality Inspector.

During his time working for the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, Anthony worked in the Permitting Section of the Planning and Management Division. While at the OWRB Anthony worked as a Water Rights Permit Reviewer and then as the Water Rights Permitting Manager.

During his time at the OWRB as a Permit Reviewer and Permitting Manager, Anthony worked on many projects including:

  • Serving as a technical advisor and watershed modeler for the Oklahoma Water Resources Board on the State of Oklahoma, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Chickasaw Nation, City of Oklahoma City Water Settlement.
  • Serving as a technical witness for the Oklahoma Water Resources Board at the Oklahoma City Kiamichi River Stream Water permit hearing.
  • Multiple major water rights projects including the City of Oklahoma City, the City of Enid, the City of Bethany, the City of Purcell, Cleveland County RWD #1, Buckhorn RWD, Department of Wildlife, & others.
  • Managed the entire permitting staff and oversaw all aspects of water rights permitting for the OWRB.
  • Assisted with multiple studies and projects related to water management for the OWRB.
  • Provided presentations and education across the state for the OWRB.
